“When you talk of recycling, what first comes to mind
is the process of reusing wasted materials such as paper and plastic, all of
which are regarded as important, yet is not improving the health of individuals
around the Earth. I wanted to paint a
broader picture than just those average dump sites you see out in the middle of
nowhere, or those recycling factories within cities that look so
unappealing. In my mind and heart, I
feel humanity needs to recycle items which not only can be harvested and
digested by society, but digested by the living organisms which we consume. “All the human and animal manure which the
world wastes, if returned to the land, instead of being thrown into the sea,
would suffice to nourish the world.”, Victor Hugo.
